Five Island Films is a grass roots company dedicated to the love of film and the art of storytelling.

Tanc Sade is the driving force behind Five Island Films having written and directed both Flowers and Weeds and the Twenty Dollar Shorts series. Young filmmaker and successful actor, Tanc was named "Young emerging Australian talent" before relocating to the United States.

As the writer/director Tanc has formed a special creative relationship with cinematographer, Filip Vandewal having worked together on five projects to date.

When not acting, Tanc splits his focus between writing and developing other projects.
